Mari Odette has been entertaining since the age of 2! She has performed as a professional actress/dancer/singer in musicals, theatre, video and motion pictures. She majored in Communications and was trained in Theatre Lighting, Sound and Video Production as well as acting, jazz dance, ballet, tap and voice. Her musical abilities include rhythm and piano.

Mari’s interest in the wedding business began in the early 1980’s with her grandfather doing video production. She has since been involved in the Limousine Industry, Catering, Party Planning, Coordination and hosting.

Mari opened the "first of it’s kind", Interactive Children’s Playstage and was featured in a business publication as an "innovative woman-owned business operator". The facility offered services such as On-site parties, hands-on theatre, specialized instruction, Jr. Nightclub, Karaoke, retail costumes and performing supplies.

From there, Mari began as a Mobile Disc Jockey and she quickly learned that this is where her talents could be most utilized and reach the largest audience. She became an ordained minister in 1997 after a freak accident had caused the officiant at one of her Ceremonies to be three hours delayed. She decided to become ordained "just in case" she was needed in a pinch. She continues to perform many ceremonies on request and a few to save the day!

Mari has the natural ability to motivate a crowd and make them feel at ease. Her love of life and others shows in her smile and her work. Mari is the most requested female Disc Jockey in the Northwest and frequently travels to Florida, California, Las Vegas, Arizona, Oregon and anywhere else she is requested to perform events. As an member/manager of A Amore’ Events & Entertainment, LLC her quality customer service ethic shines through her associate Disc Jockeys as well.

Her skills as a true professional in an industry with a not so professional reputation is proven time and again through the referrals and compliments received from facilities, event planners, previous and current clients, other wedding professionals.
